Fire crews responded Thursday to Tom Schaeffer’s RV Superstore in Perry Township, Pa., for the report of an electrical fire outside one of the buildings at the recreational vehicle dealership.
The calls went out shortly before 4 p.m. for the fire at 1236 Pottsville Pike on a busy stretch of the road, which is Route 61, for flames visible from the highway, according to emergency reports.
Arriving personnel said they did not believe the fire had gotten inside a building and that the fire involved a service line at the service department, according to emergency reports.
