First-Ever Queen Bee RV Symposium Kicks Off Wednesday

The Queen Bee RV Symposium for Women is a multiday educational event taking place March 11-15 at Sequoyah State Park near Hulbert, Oklahoma.

The symposium is designed to help women at all stages of RV ownership, from first-time buyers to experienced travelers, to gain confidence, learn hands-on skills and receive trusted guidance in the RV lifestyle, Queen Bee RV said in a recent release.

The event is hosted by Brenda Puckett, the founder of Queen Bee RV and a certified RV inspector.

“This event has always been my dream,” Puckett said. “I wanted to create a women-led experience that goes beyond a rally and truly focuses on education, empowerment and community.”

The symposium features more than 15 breakout sessions led entirely by women, including RV inspectors, technicians and industry professionals. Topics include RV electrical, water and propane systems, wastewater management, roadside readiness, boondocking, lithium batteries and solar, RV buying strategies, safety, maintenance and campground setup.

Sessions are designed to remove intimidation and encourage questions in a supportive setting, Puckett explained.

Bob Hurley RV, the event’s exclusive dealership sponsor, will bring a selection of RV models to the symposium, giving attendees the opportunity to explore a variety of campers up close while learning about their features, systems and design in a hands-on environment.

The event welcomes women who already own RVs as well as those who are still considering whether the lifestyle is right for them. Attendees may stay in their RVs, park cabins or lodge accommodations. No RV is required to participate, Queen Bee RV said.

In addition to educational programming, the symposium includes community-building activities, sponsored meals and a themed closing night celebration. Participants from more than 15 states will be attending.

Registration for the Queen Bee RV Symposium is $299 per person. Lodging and campsite fees are separate.
