Waterproof Fix8 adheres to nearly everything, even without a primer, so prep time is minimized. It has a paste-like consistency that’s easy to apply to a clean, dry surface in temperatures between 40 and 100 degrees F. The material remains workable for 30–45 minutes before skin formation with mild, diluted soapy water. It has a low flame spread and toxicity. Fix8 cures in 24 hours with a minimal 3% shrink. The product is UV, mold, heat and age-resistant and remains permanently elastic.
Fix8 isn’t paintable, but it’s completely colorfast. The white version doesn’t yellow and the black retains its deep, dark color.
If unopened and stored in a cool, dry place, Fix8 has a shelf life of 12 months from date of production.
