The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) opened the 35th Annual 2020 Florida RV SuperShow, Wednesday, Jan. 15, to huge crowds, the association recently stated. About 19,500 people passed through the gates at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Fla. FRVTA said that is 400 people more than last year’s record.
“We will have more suppliers’ booths and every type, size and style of RV on the market,” said Marketing Director David Kelly. “With the addition of new entertainment and more seminars, we’re anticipating record crowds again this year. With an opening day crowd like we had today, we expect to blow the doors off the old record.”
The theme of the 2020 Florida RV SuperShow is “On the Road, Off the Grid!”
A favorite of all visitors to the SuperShow is the free entertainment, according to the association, from clowns and unicycle riders to barbershop quartets and bagpipe bands.
Seminars are presented throughout the day at the SuperShow. National RV writer Bob Marx host two seminars daily.
“RVing 101: What You Will Need to Know” let’s attendees know what to expect as an RV owner and helps them decide which RV is right for a particular lifestyle.
“Full Time & Extended RV Travel” explains how RV travelers deal with banking, bill paying, telephone communications, email, mail forwarding, medical care and other concerns while on the road for extended periods of time.
Additional seminars include nomadic living, weight and tire issues and guided RV tours.
The Super Rally celebrates its 33rd year at the SuperShow. This RV rally is opened to all RV clubs and the general public and includes a number of amenities, including free admission to the SuperShow all five public days, meeting facilities for your club, free coffee and donuts every morning and seminars.
Three nights of entertainment and refreshments are also included and will feature “The Rivoli Revue” music by Kay and Ron Rivoli, The Malt Shoppe Memories, and Kenny Evans.
