Forest River Announces Lisa L. Rees’ Departure From East To West
Forest River announced that Lisa L. Rees, group general manager of its East To West division, will be leaving the company at the end of September. Rees, the daughter of Forest River founder Pete Liegl, played a pivotal role in the creation and growth of East To West, a brand she founded and later worked closely alongside her father, the company said in a release.

Throughout her career, Rees has been a passionate advocate for the RV lifestyle, a respected leader and a leading advocate for women in the industry. Her vision and dedication helped shape East To West into a leading brand in the market.
Reflecting on her decision, Rees said, “After my dad’s passing, I felt a growing call to carry forward the Liegl legacy, so I have decided to forge a new path that honors my roots. This decision was not easy, but I am so proud of our accomplishments, and I look forward to still being a part of the family as I travel with my own family in our Forest River East To West trailer.”
“Forest River is grateful for Lisa’s accomplishments and the passion she’s always displayed in building the East to West brand from scratch, and assembling an extremely talented ‘A-team,’” said Doug Gaeddert, Forest River president and CEO. “I’ve watched Lisa from the time she was a dedicated and amazing teammate on Concord High School’s swim and running teams, through her time as a team builder and leader in her professional career. I have no doubt that Lisa will do a beautiful job of carrying on and further building on the Liegl legacy, and it will be exciting to see all that she does!”
The East To West division said it will continue its strong trajectory under the guidance of Forest River and East To West’s experienced leadership team, ensuring continuity and support for its dealers, partners and customers.
