Forest River Donates $100K Custom Bus
An organization that provides individual encouragement and support to adolescents and adults with various levels of developmental disabilities to lead to a life of balance has won a custom-made bus worth $100,000 in a contest.
Harmony Day Support Center in Bedford County was one of 200 applicants to win a new shuttle bus from Forest River Bus to mark its 100,000th vehicle.
The center said they help provide social development, academic development, independent living training, and employment preparation training and this bus will help them better serve the people they work with.

“It’ll allow us to get individuals out more in the community whether its volunteer work or go to places like Kings Dominion or the beach,” said Executive Director Andy Coleman. “It just allows them to have more opportunity to live as autonomously as they can.”
