Forest River awarded a dealer a custom designed Mobile RV Service Vehicle during a drawing which took place at the company’s 12th Annual RV Product Expo on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Forest River did not require the dealer to be present to win. Roulottes Chaudiere, a Forest River RV dealership out of Saint-Nicolas, Quebec, won the drawing and the prize Rockport Workport Ford E-450 customized mobile RV service vehicle.
Forest River’s Rockport Division was tasked with designing a mobile service vehicle specifically for RV service in the field. This custom design features a V10 Ford E-450 chassis, boasting a 14-foot long service compartment with 78 inches of interior height, accessible through a sliding walk through door from the cab or a rear 47-inch wide, 71-inch tall door with unique 70/30 swing motion. The mobile service vehicle is also equipped with 10 spacious exterior power locking compartments (with interior access), interior roadside and curbside workbenches, interior shelving and LED lighting, a rear camera with a 7-inch monitor, a large roof rack and Class C hitch. The vehicle is then finished off with a customized graphics package featuring the dealer’s logo and contact information.

Dealer response to this mobile service vehicle was very favorable, with a number of dealers inquiring about custom service vehicles for their dealerships.
