Forest River, Jayco and Airstream on NHTSA Recall List
Forest River, Jayco and Airstream are three RV manufacturers on this week’s recall list from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.
Forest River announces a recall of its 2016 Amera-Lite Cargo Van Trailer because a drawbar and coupler may fracture. The recall number is 20V380.
Forest River also announces a recall of its 2020-21 Vengeance because improperly spaced landing legs may collapse. The recall number is 20V382.
Jayco has issued a recall for its 2017 Northpoint model because its leaf springs provide inadequate suspension support. Recall number is 20V385.
Forest River is recalling its 2021 No Boundaries RV because its cooler may backfeed current and damage appliances. The recall number there is 20V386.
Jayco has issued a recall for its 2019-21 Entegra Qwest, Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige models because the front brake hoses may contact the fender liners. Recall number is 20V388.
Lastly, Airstream is recalling its 2020-21 Airstream Interstate because the bolts securing the suspension spring may be too long. Its recall number is 20V391.
