Forest River Palomino Columbus Now Has TPMS

Forest River has announced that Palomino Columbus now has factory-installed TPMS by Truck System Technologies (TST) on new RV builds.

TST’s TPMS can help protect consumers from the dangers relating to a low tire by alerting them to real-time temperature and pressure measurements on a widescreen color display. Warnings are presented on the digital display as audio, visual and textual alerts giving the consumer ample time to pull to a safe location.

“Columbus is elated to be partnering with Truck System Technologies (TST) on factory installed Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems on every unit we build as a standard, no additional cost to the consumer, Forest River exclusive,” said Colin Dechant, general manager for Palomino Columbus. “TST, with their parent company P.S.I., are the world leaders for automatic tire inflation systems (ATIS) and TMPS in the commercial trucking industry. We couldn’t be happier to bring their expertise in this field to the Forest River Columbus line of RVs.”

In addition to RVs, TST systems are expandable and can monitor up to four trailers (boat, agricultural, utility, cargo etc.) or “toys” (side by sides, motorcycles, etc.) and 115 tires, including spares.

“Columbus feels that the TST system provides the best tire pressure monitoring system in the nationwide market,” said Colin Dechant. “TST’s customer service and support have been second to none. Dealers will appreciate the value add this provides to Columbus RVs. This exceptional partnership provides more awareness reducing potential tire issues as Columbus Owners travel the country in their Forest River RV.”
