Goshen, Ind.-based RV manufacturer Forest River has hired UFC Mixed Martial Artist Michelle Waterson to be a brand ambassador for its new IBEX line.
“As a child, I made memories with my family, going into the woods and camping,” Waterson said. “My whole approach to life is collecting memories, not things. I want my daughter to have the same kind of camping memories that I do from my childhood.”
The IBEX was rolled out this year, with the company branding it as a lightweight and durable trailer with ease of towing, six floorplan options and numerous amenities, making it ideal for extended camping adventures.
“We are big fans of Michelle and are excited to be working with her in this new partnership,” said General Manager Kevin McArt. “She has a large and loyal online following who are sure to become fans of IBEX as well.”
Waterson, who travels extensively for training and fights, notes that her daughter has now begun competing in gymnastic competitions.
“The trailer will give us a place to call home wherever we are,” she said, adding that she’s excited about having a full kitchen. “I’m looking forward to cooking fresh, clean food without worrying about keeping it fresh in a cooler.”
