Forest River said it has won the 2022 Best Employer in Manufacturing award as part of the annual Goshen News “Best of the Best” contest. The Goshen News revealed the contest results to the public in its Saturday, Feb. 26, edition.
The Goshen News, a newspaper serving Goshen, Ind. and surrounding areas, holds its annual Best of the Best awards to recognize its readers’ favorite organizations in five categories: automotive, employer, food and drink, health and retail. This year, more than 90,000 votes across seven northern Indiana counties were cast to select the awards’ recipients. Voting was done on the newspaper’s online voting platform and by mail.
“We would like to thank our community for this recognition,” CEO Pete Liegl said. “We are humbled by it and remain focused on continuously offering competitive and rewarding employment opportunities in more than 100 manufacturing plants across the country.”
According to HR Director David Besinger, the award is a reflection of Forest River’s commitment to creating a rewarding career and workplace for its nearly 14,000 employees.
“Forest River employees create a unique and desirable environment. It is their commitment and dedication that make awards like this possible,” Besinger said.
