Foretravel Motorcoach of Nacogdoches, Texas, just became certified green by TRA Certification.
Foretravel has earned the Emerald off-grid level of certification since its units are shipped with a 2-kilowatt solar panels standard.
“Foretravel Motorcoach is definitely proving that luxury and sustainability can go together,” said Mandy Leazenby, TRA Certification president.
Foretravel’ s startup story is unique, as it began out of a high school marketing project and grew into a well-known company, it said.
For its green certification, Foretravel motorcoaches were evaluated in four categories: resource efficiency, energy efficiency, water efficiency and indoor air quality.
“Foretravel Motorcoach will be the only Class A that is Certified Green,” said Leazenby. “This is exciting because these units are built with such attention to detail and I’m so happy that sustainability is one of those details.”
