Forrest Street Partners recently acquired Forsyth KOA, which is located north of Macon, Georgia. This acquisition is the second KOA franchise in Georgia by the firm and is a strategic move toward providing best-in-class service to the RV community and make improvements in the Georgia and Southeast markets, the firm said in a release.
The Forsyth KOA resort has 132 RV sites, 10 tent sites, and 11 cabins. The RV park has been well-maintained, however, the real estate firm intends to invest further into the park. The investments will include improvements to the roads and sites, renovation of the existing homes and community center, general maintenance and upgrades to the property, and bringing in new park management with a focus on increasing operational efficiencies, the firm said.
“Overall, this park is in great condition, so our focus is on the park’s infrastructure and operations as we train our new team and continue to prioritize the guest experience,” said Forrest Street Partner Reece Stead.
The Forsyth KOA is a popular destination for both short- and long-term campers. It offers a range of amenities to keep guests entertained such as gemstone mining, miniature golf, and swimming. Additionally, the park has a playground, a dog park, and fishing ponds. The city of Forsyth, located between Atlanta and Macon, is easily accessible from I-75. Guests can explore the city’s mix of big-box retail, boutique shopping and dining options or simply relax and unwind.
