Furrion, a producer of audiovisual, kitchen appliances and electrical and solar power, debuted the DV5700 Series Entertainment System, according to a news release Thursday (Jan. 28).
The DV5700 model includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity for seamless integration with Apple and Android, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Users can easily stream audio content, playing through four speakers, on the single-zone system without ever having to touch the device. In addition to Bluetooth capabilities the residential, single-din design offers DVD playback, USB interface, and AUX-IN with video support and Subwoofer output.
According to the release, the DV5700 was engineered to give maximum product performance and safety on the move. The DV5700 was put through the company’s Vibrationsmart and Climatesmart testing for continuous vibration, extreme heat and cold winter storage temperatures to endure the rigors of extreme environments.
Furrion introduced the industry first mounting design for single-din stereos that includes four exterior mounting points through hardware and a “snap on” trim kit, rather than utilizing the conventional “mounting cage/pull tab” method.
“From the modern aesthetics to the superior feature set offering and performance, the DV5700 is truly a step above the rest when it comes to single-din entertainment designed for the Specialty Vehicle markets,” Director of Sales Chase Healey said.
