Furrion Awarded Additional Patents
Furrion has received additional intellectual property protection for its kitchen appliances in the form of two new U.S. patents. The first is utility patent No. 10,527,292 and a new design patent No. D872,516.
These patents were granted on Jan. 7 and Jan. 21. Along with previously granted patents D851,978, D851,979, D851,990, and D839,038, the new patents strengthen the protection of Furrion’s intellectual property and design of Furrion’s RV range oven, according to the company.
“These latest patents are a big win for Furrion,” said Aaron Fidler, co-founder and CEO. “We believe our utility patent is particularly strong because it protects the flush-mount fitment and function of the product. … These patents, combined with the design patents previously awarded, will make it easier for Furrion to enforce action against any infringing products. We recognize the need to protect our intellectual property for our customers, and we are prepared to vigorously enforce these patents to the fullest extent of the law.”
These new patents are part of nearly 30 patents granted to Furrion worldwide in the last year alone. Furrion has more than 80 patent applications pending.
