Gallery: Winnebago Goes to the Desert

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Winnebago dealers gathered for the manufacturer’s annual dealer days at the JW Marriott Resort in Palm Springs, Calif., beginning Tuesday.

Rain greeted those arriving in the desert early, but for Wednesday’s main event of an outdoor product display and an evening at the Palm Springs Air Museum, sunny skies and perfect temperatures greeted those in attendance.

During Wednesday morning’s breakfast, CEO Mike Happe updated dealers on how Grand Design and Newmar had been melded into the Winnebago family since their acquisition. He also gave an updated outlook for the company and discussed moving Class A production back to the company’s Iowa plant.
