GE Profile announced the availability of the GE Profile Smart Compact Dishwasher for countertop or built-in installation.
Holding up to six place settings or 24 bar glasses with flexible installation options, this dishwasher is designed to transform the way you clean dishes while seamlessly integrating into any living space — from home bars to dorm rooms and mother-in-law suites, the company said.
This uniquely designed dishwasher can be installed in three different ways depending on your setup – on the countertop, under-the-sink or built into the cabinetry. For the countertop configuration, the Compact Dishwasher attaches to a faucet and drains into the sink, providing a flexible draining setup. As an alternative, GE Profile created a complementary trim kit, fitting most faucets or refrigerator water lines, which allows the dishwasher to be built into the cabinetry or installed under the sink with less construction. The reintroduction of an under-the-sink installation offers a solution for those looking to conserve kitchen space or with limited installation options.

Small but mighty, this GE Profile compact dishwasher packs a punch with multiple wash cycles, including Heavy, Normal, AutoSense, Rinse and Custom as well as advanced cycles such as a 30-minute Quick Wash cycle, Extra Wash and Extra Dry.
Available at launch, the dishwasher will also offer a new Baby Care Cycle. Designed to help multi-tasking parents save time, this cycle sanitizes both nursing and baby products, effectively eliminating 99.999% of bacteria with NSF certification. Instead of constantly needing to handwash and sterilize bottles or pacifiers, parents can now save time by loading it all in one dedicated wash for hassle-free sanitization.

The dishwasher also includes smart features powered by SmartHQ so owners can also enjoy remote start functionality, monitor cycle countdowns, and access new washing cycles and features as they are released through over-the-air updates.
GE Profile is also expanding its dishwasher portfolio with a new GE Profile Dishwasher Double Drawer, giving owners two independent drawers in the space of one. Depending on the size of the load, owners can run a single drawer for a quick rinse or both drawers for a combined capacity for up to 14 place settings. Designed for seamless integration, the dishwasher fits within the standard 24-inch dishwasher cutout and offers convenient waist-level access for easier loading and less bending.
The GE Profile Smart Compact Dishwasher is now available at retailers nationwide starting at a MSRP of $599. The trim kit will be sold separately for a MSRP of $399. The GE Profile Dishwasher Double Drawer is available for a suggested retail price of $1,099.
