GEN-Y Hitch has released the Executive which combines Torsion-Flex technology with a fifth wheel pin box. By isolating the truck from the trailer, only 10 percent of the inertia transfers, according to the company. This product is available in both kingpin and gooseneck conversion models.
In 2012, Carl Borkholder, the founder of GEN-Y Hitch, began manufacturing adjustable hitches out of his home. He owned a tree-trimming company at the time and was constantly forced to switch hitches to be able to connect to different trailers.
His ideas led to GEN-Y Hitch, which serves customers throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
