General RV Hosts Ribbon Cutting at Fort Pierce Site

General RV Center celebrated its new Fort Pierce, Florida, facility Monday, Oct. 21 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with leadership, employees, RV manufacturer representatives and members of the Treasure Coast community.
“I really appreciate all of the people that had faith in us and put in the time and energy because without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do here,” said General RV CEO and third-generation owner Loren Baidas at the event.
The new supercenter off Interstate 95 on Florida’s east coast was purchased this summer as part of a three-store acquisition from Lazydays RV. General RV first came to Fort Pierce in late 2023 with a smaller store, but tripled its footprint with this new 50,000-square-foot building on 20 acres. The Supercenter boasts 20 service bays, a full-body paint booth, and nearly 400 new and used travel trailers, motorhomes, camper vans, destination trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers.
With seven supercenters across Florida – Fort Pierce, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Ocala, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Winter Garden – General RV is the No. 1 dealer in the Sunshine State for motorized vehicles and No. 2 for towables, the company said.
During the event, Baidas, who was joined by General RV Chairman Rob Baidas and President Chris Davis, thanked the community and employees — including those who stayed on from Lazydays following the acquisition. He then gave attendees a sneak peek into what’s next for the Supercenter, which includes facility enhancements and expansion.
“This is only the beginning for this store,” Baidas added. “We plan on being here a long, long time.”
General RV Center owns and operates 23 Supercenters across 10 states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Virginia).
