Genesis Products announced a partnership with IndyCar Driver Santino Ferrucci, pilot of the No. 14 car for AJ Foyt Racing. Ferrucci is the only driver to have a top 10 finish in each of his first Indianapolis 500 starts, with a career high third-place finish in 2023.
Erin Curtis, VP of marketing and development for Genesis, said the partnership was built on a mutual passion for RVing. “Go to any IndyCar race, and you’ll see tons of fans traveling in RVs, so there’s a connection to the lifestyle on a consumer level. We also know that racecar drivers like Santino often live in RVs during race weekends to stay close to the track in comfort. We both saw the opportunity to work together in the RV space.”
As part of the sponsorship, Genesis collaborated with Forest River Coachmen and General RV Center to provide Ferrucci with a new Coachmen EURO for three race weekends this season. The EURO features curved, two-tone, Euro-style cabinet doors and solid surface countertops made by Genesis.
“Not only does this give us a chance to build awareness for our high-quality RV interior products, it also gives us a chance to highlight our OEM partners, like Forest River, as we defy the limits of expected design together,” said Curtis.
Zach Eppers, general manager Coachmen Class A, adds, “The collaboration aims to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence both on and off the track. It’s exciting to see like-minded entities come together to make a meaningful impact.”
Genesis will be executing a social media campaign with Ferrucci highlighting the Coachmen EURO and the joys of RVing this summer.
