Roadsurfer, the German-based company specializing in “mobile escapades,” announced its further expansion into North America.
By spring 2024, the company will have four additional stations in San Francisco and Las Vegas, as well as scenic Vancouver and Calgary.
Following the successful launch of the company’s Los Angeles station in June 2022, Roadsurfer is gearing up to increase their fleet to a formidable 250 vehicles.
Strategically positioned near key airports, these new hubs are a nod to the convenience sought by globetrotters from Europe and North America. Roadsurfer’s expansion is not just a growth statistic but a narrative of connectivity, bringing together the rugged allure of the great outdoors with the ease of modern travel, it said.
From the “Liberty Lodge” and the “Couple Condo” to the “Family Freedom” alcove vehicle and the trail-blazing “Horizon Hopper” off-roader, the brand caters to the call of adventure. Moreover, with the introduction of one-way rentals and competitive pricing, the brand said it is set to redefine travel economics.
Roadsurfer’s blueprint for global expansion outlines more than 20 new locations, catapulting their European network with a fleet of approximately 7,800 vehicles. This strategy aligns with their projected gross revenue of an impressive 200 million Euros for the upcoming year.
Susanne Dieckhardt, co-founder, said “Our foray into North American and Canadian territories is a strategic leap towards cultivating a vast camper van rental network for international outdoor aficionados.”
Alongside their core RV and camper van rentals, Roadsurfer’s has its “roadsurfer spots,” an app that revolutionizes camping by providing access to more than 10,000 private camping locations, currently a European exclusive.
