Giveaways, Country Concert Wrap up Final Full Day of Open House

ELKHART, Ind. – Manufacturers’ reps were busier than might have been expected on Wednesday morning after a night of late concerts the previous day.

Many dealers wrapped up their annual pilgrimage to the heartland of the RV industry on Wednesday, although the show continues part of the day Thursday.

At both the Forest River and Thor exhibits, giveaway drawings were held to climax the day of activities.

At Thor, the first name out of the barrel full of entries turned out to be the winner – the winner had to be present, which in the past has resulted in as many as six drawings to find a winner.

This year, Emily Spicer of Highway Trailer Sales in Salem, Ore., won and chose the prize of a brand new Chevy Silverado.

To round out the entertainment for Open House 2019, Big & Rich took the stage at Forest River’s East to West facility.

Exhibits will be open for part of the day Thursday. At the RV/MH Hall of Fame, the supplier showcase is being billed as OEM day, in which manufacturers are invited to attend to get an idea of what type of products and partnerships are available.
