Google Selects Great Alaskan Holidays for New Series Launch
Great Alaskan Holidays, one of Alaska’s largest RV rental, sales and service businesses headquartered in Anchorage, has been selected by Google to be featured in its new “Proudly-Owned Stories by Google Small Business” series. Google’s new “Proudly-Owned” series is a content initiative launched by Google Small Business to celebrate the personal stories behind small businesses and highlights how Google’s digital tools such as Google Ads and Analytics have helped these entrepreneurs grow their companies.
The series emphasizes the passion and commitment required to own a small business, showcasing real-world examples of how owners turn their passion projects into thriving enterprises that support their families and communities. After passing some extensive and in-depth interviews conducted by the Google Creative Marketing Team and the production company Where The Buffalo Roam, Great Alaskan Holidays was selected as one of only a few small businesses nationwide to be highlighted within the overall Google campaign as those most effectively and efficiently utilizing, and showcasing the use of, Google assets, Great Alaskan Holidays said in a recent release.
“Across the country, more than 90% of businesses are small-owned, and they employ nearly 50% of all workers. To be featured by Google in their Proudly-Owned series is a significant honor for Great Alaskan Holidays, and certainly a notable milestone in the company’s history,” said Bob Johnson, the firm’s director of marketing. “Their Search and P-Max tools, along with Google Analytics 4, are assets we couldn’t survive without. Not only for our daily operations, but also for the high-level of customer satisfaction we strive toward nonstop, year-round.”
