Grand Design Shines at 2024 Hershey RV Show
Grand Design RV made a powerful impression at the 2024 Hershey RV Show, America’s largest RV event, with a strong showing across its full product lineup, the company said in a release.
From Sept. 11–16, Grand Design showcased 47 units, including models from Momentum, Solitude, Influence, Reflection, Imagine, Transcend, Serenova and Lineage product lines. Grand Design said turnout was extraordinary, with heightened consumer interest and strong display traffic, solidifying Grand Design’s status as a leader in the RV industry.
“We knew going into Hershey that we had a lot to offer, but the sheer volume of interest and excitement from consumers really exceeded our expectations,” said Rob Groover, general manager for Solitude, Momentum and Influence product lines. “For us, it’s not just about showcasing our units — it’s about creating memorable, meaningful experiences for our customers. At the end of the day, we want to connect with current and future owners on a personal level, and that’s exactly what we did.”
One of the standout elements of Grand Design’s presence at the show was the exclusive virtual reality (VR) experience. Designed to offer consumers a first-of-its-kind opportunity, the VR tool allowed visitors to explore various floorplans that were not physically on display at the show. This feature was a hit, receiving positive feedback for its consumer-centric design and ease of use.
“The VR experience was about pushing boundaries,” continued Groover. “We wanted to give our customers something fresh — something that truly elevates their decision-making process. By providing a virtual walkthrough of units that weren’t physically at the show, we ensured that every potential owner could see the full extent of our offerings. The response was phenomenal, and we’re excited to continue exploring new ways to innovate for our consumers.”
The Hershey RV Show also marked the debut of two new product lines for Grand Design. The Serenova Travel Trailer, an upscale, lightweight travel trailer, wowed attendees with its design and high-end features, making it a standout in the single-axle trailer segment.
Additionally, Grand Design introduced the Lineage Series M, its latest motorized Class C model. The Lineage 25FW, built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4500 diesel cutaway chassis, features dark interior ceilings and a square design theme — reflected in the lights, door handles and latches. The 25FW also includes a custom MORryde steel chassis conversion and is equipped with the Firefly multiplex system for enhanced control and convenience, making it one of the most innovative motorhomes in its class.
Beyond the excitement surrounding the VR feature, Grand Design’s commitment to customer-focused innovation was front and center, the company said. Engaging directly with consumers at Hershey gave the team invaluable insights, allowing the company to further refine designs and product features based on real-time feedback. This iterative approach ensures that Grand Design’s future products not only meet but exceed consumer expectations.
“We’re in this for the long haul-for our customers and for the industry,” Groover emphasized. “Our goal is not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them every time. That’s what drives us to innovate and deliver exceptional products and experiences. The feedback we got from Hershey will help us improve even more as we continue setting the standard for quality and trust in the RV industry.”
