Grand Design’s Clark Receives National Education Service Award
Grand Design RV announced that its president, CEO and co-founder, Don Clark, has been honored with the National Education Service Award by the RV Industry Association (RVIA). The RVIA announced this award on June 3, kicking off this year’s RVs Move America Week.
This accolade highlights Clark’s dedication and pivotal contributions to the advancement of educational programs within the RV industry, Grand Design said in a release.
Throughout his career, Clark has passionately championed industry education and technician training. As a founding member of the RV Technical Institute, Clark’s leadership has been instrumental in its establishment and success. His commitment to education has provided countless resources, teaching aids and equipment, enhancing the learning experience.
Clark’s influence has extended beyond resource provision. His insights and active participation in recruiting and training events have been pivotal in promoting a culture of continuous improvement, Grand Design said. Clark has emphasized the importance of training and certification, helping drive the industry to improve.
Reflecting on this recognition and his vision, Clark said, “It’s never been about the accolades; it’s about equipping the next generation with the skills and knowledge to elevate our entire industry.” He emphasized, “Our work is far from over. We must continue to innovate and adapt our educational programs to meet the evolving needs of our industry. RVIA annually recognizes individuals, companies and organizations for outstanding contributions to the advancement of the RV industry with the presentation of awards honoring exceptional service and achievements in the areas of RV standards, education and government affairs.
