Gulf Stream Coach, celebrating its 40th year in business in 2023, is meeting with dealers and customers at the Florida SuperShow in Tampa this week but the manufacturing also paid special tribute to Lesa Colvin, show director for the SuperShow for 35 years.
“We (at Gulf Stream Coach) thought that her contributions to the industry, from the perspective of manufacturers, dealers and retail customers, are among the most far-reaching and impactful of any RV executive,” said Paul Campbell, director of marketing. “We weren’t aware of any official acknowledgment of those contributions, so we thought we’d step up and show our appreciation.”
Campbell went on to praise Colvin for her handling of industry politics, dealer dynamics and logistical issues over the decades,
“Lesa has enabled the show to grow into an enterprise that annually generates tens of thousands of visits, and countless millions of dollars worth of transactions for dealers and manufacturers,” he said.
