Gulf Stream Coach’s Vintage Cruiser Sees 36% YOY Growth
While the national RV market sees a modest 2% growth, Gulf Stream Coach reported a massive breakout for its Vintage Cruiser line, which is in its 10th year of production. The retro-inspired travel trailer has posted a 36% YOY increase following a string of successful dealer and consumer shows, Gulf Stream Coach said in a recent release.

Known for its signature 1950s aesthetic, the Vintage Cruiser has become a showstopper on the circuit, the company said.
“It is a thrill to watch the crowd’s reaction,” said Tim Dennig, GM of Gulf Stream’s laminate division. “People are originally drawn in by the fun colors and the vibe, but once they see how it’s built, they realize it’s a modern powerhouse. We aren’t just selling an incredible design — we’re selling top quality, lightweight, durable travel trailers built for today’s SUVs.”
For the Vintage Cruiser’s 10th anniversary, Gulf Stream made many improvements to the product.
“For the 10th anniversary, we gave it an interior and exterior facelift while maintaining the roots and heritage of the Vintage Cruiser,” said Dennig. “We see a lot of customers coming back to buy their second or third unit, so we decided we wanted them to have a fresh new look for their new trailers. Those repeat buyers were really the source of the 36% increase.”
Built for Longevity: The Construction Advantage

The Vintage Cruiser’s remarkable surge during its 10th anniversary year is a testament to its enduring popularity and the high-value features that modern travelers are increasingly prioritizing, Gulf Streak Coach said.
Those features include the Vintage Cruiser’s seamless protection, a one-piece fiberglass shell that runs from the front wall to the rear for superior leak resistance and aerodynamics. Customers also appreciate the moon rims with Goodyear radial tires and an enhanced safety step system with extra stabilizer jacks for peak stability, the company said. Inside, the unit balances compact towing with interior sophistication, offering a spacious layout that includes a full bath, fixed beds and a comprehensive galley equipped with a 100-watt solar panel system that supports off-grid, dry camping adventures.
As one of the nation’s largest family-owned RV manufacturers, Gulf Stream Coach said it remains nimble by answering to customers rather than stockholders.
“Being family-owned allows us to be responsive,” Dennig added. “When our dealers tell us customers want something, we don’t have to check with a board of directors — we just build it. That responsiveness is exactly why we are outperforming the market by such a wide margin.”
