The HARVEST Education Foundation, a non-profit created by the Michigan Manufactured Housing, RV and Campground Association, is accepting applications for its HARVEST scholarships.
According to a news release, the goal of the scholarships is to provide opportunities for students who wish to make a career in the RV, campground, manufactured housing or self-storage industries.
In some cases, the Foundation will award scholarships to students even if their goals may not lead them back to these industries.
“In cases like these, awards will be made to outstanding scholars or students with compelling needs,” according to the scholarship application.
Students must forward a copy of the application to the HARVEST foundation office. The awards will be made based on the applicant’s ability to show that his/her educational goals are consistent with industry goals.
The application’s presentation and thoroughness weigh heavily. The HARVEST foundation will base its decisions on need and/or merit.
Applications are due at the HARVEST foundation office no later than March 27, for the fall semester of the coming school year. All information must be completed for consideration. All Seasons Communications, the association’s marketing agency, manages the HARVEST scholarship program. For more information, call 586-752-6066.
