Heatshield Products Touts Class C Dog House Shield
With summer road trip season approaching, Heatshield Products said it wants to make your Class C RVing experience cooler by installing Heatshield Products RV Dog House Shield.
According to the company, a common problem with Class C chassis motorhomes and box vans are the extreme amount of heat that is transmitted into the cab through what is known as the engine dog house cover. This causes the interior to become heated to the point the air conditioning struggles to maintain a comfortable temperature in the interior, while the footwell area becomes hot enough to cause foot discomfort and even burning of feet and lower legs.
Heatshield Products RV Dog House Shield insulates the dog house cover to stop heat from getting through. It is made from specially formulated fire-resistant “Stealth Shield” insulation material and is rated to handle up to 1,800 degrees farenheit of continuous heat. At only 1/8-inch thick, RV Dog House Shield won’t cause fitting issues with the cover, carpet or other floor covering.
Three different size kits are available and feature precut pieces for quick and easy installation. No special tools required. Once installed, interior temperatures are measurably lowered along with elimination of footwell discomfort from heat intrusion. No more scorched shins if you wear shorts while driving.
Heatshield Products is family owned and operated for nearly 40 years and makes its products in the U.S.A.
