RV Industry Association Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications Monika Geraci confirmed Thursday that Curt Hemmeler, formerly the executive director of the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), is no longer employed with RVIA.

“We appreciate his contributions and wish him the very best in his future endeavors. During this transition period, Sharonne Lee (vice president, education and operations) and Bryan Ritchie (vice president, standards) will provide interim oversight for RVTI and Standards, respectively, to ensure continuity and a smooth transition,” Geraci said in an email. “We are establishing a recruitment task force to provide guidance in the next phase of RVTI’s leadership planning.”

When Hemmeler was hired in 2018, his bio stated that he had 20 years of professional experience in technical education and training. He served as vice president of operations and strategy for WyoTech, a division of Zenith Education that trains auto and diesel technicians. Previously, Hemmeler served as a regional campus president for WyoTech, and earlier in his career, he spent six years with Kaplan, culminating as vice president of operations and admissions for a start-up region in Florida where he was responsible for site selection, staffing, marketing and operations. Curt began his career with DeVry in sales marketing and community development roles.
