Hopkins Mfg. has hired Duke R. Vair as vice president human resources and chief human resources officer. Vair will lead and direct all human resource-related activities for Hopkins, at its’ 10 locations around the world.

Most recently, Duke was the VP of human resources and chief human resources officer for Brakebush Brothers, a food processing, trucking/transportation, logistics, sales and marketing company. Prior to that, Duke served as VP of human resources for AG Processing, a global soybean oil & bio-fuels manufacturing and processing company.
Duke’s educational background includes a bachelor’s in business from the University of Nebraska and an associate’s of applied science from Metropolitan Community College, in Omaha, Neb. He is certified as a senior professional in human resources.
