Inaugural RV Industry Awards Set for Louisville

The inaugural RV Industry Awards will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Ky., during the National RV Trade Show.

This first-ever event will serve as a platform to honor the companies, people and vehicles that truly showcase the RV industry as dynamic, innovative, inspirational and customer-service focused. The event, sponsored by Kampgrounds of America, will feature RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) Quality Circle Awards and a new RVIA Leadership Award.

Now in its 24th year, RVDA’s DSI program measures dealer attitudes toward manufacturers’ policies, products and procedures. RVDA presents its coveted Quality Circle Awards each year to RV manufacturers achieving the highest ratings in a member survey, which focuses on four areas that are important to dealers and manufacturers: vehicle reliability/quality, parts, warranty, and sales support.

“We look forward to a great night celebrating the achievements of top performers in the RV industry,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia.

The RVIA Leadership Award, in its very first year, recognizes an individual, group or organization for exemplary leadership in the RV industry. The nominee(s) must demonstrate excellence in innovation and creativity in the RV industry, inspire and encourage others and commit to providing excellent service to the RV community.

Nominations for the award are currently being accepted at RVIAshow.org/LeadershipAward.

“The RVIA Leadership Award will go to an individual in the industry who seeks ways to implement change and further the growth and success of the RV industry,” said RVIA Senior VP of Trade Shows and Events, Liz Crawford. “RVIA is excited to recognize all of the RV Industry Award winners ... It’s time to celebrate the success of the industry and the hard work everyone puts into their business.”
