Indiana Dealership More Than Doubles Its Size

On Monday, the Cunningham family debuted its new, multi-million-dollar location off of Interstate 65 at 2200 Addmore Lane in Clarksville, Ind. The facility is more than double the size of their old one in Jeffersonville — from 12,000-square feet on 3.5 acres to 30,000-square feet on 19.

The common refrain from the Cunninghams at the ribbon cutting, including from the business’ current leaders and Evan Cunningham’s sons, Larry and Mury, was that they had “never dreamed” of their business being as large as it is now.

The new Cunningham Camper’s building’s RV parts, sales and service spaces are all bigger than they were before, and the Cunninghams have added a new customer storage area.

Cunningham Campers will be able to go from selling 120 units at a time on its lot to 150. In a year, Larry plans to grow the business’ workforce from 17 to 25.

The old location, which will continue to house all of the RVs until Saturday, wasn’t built for the size of vehicles that are being made now. Plus, traffic has increased along Highway 62 and construction is either occurring or planned all around the business. All of this has added up to Cunningham Campers losing out on sales because the business can’t service current demands.

Speakers at Monday’s open house expressed relief that Cunningham Campers had chosen to stay in Clark County after the business started searching for a new location four years ago.

Cunningham Campers broke ground on its Clarksville facility in August of last year. Its current location is up for sale.
