Infographic: Meet the New, Younger Class of RVer

According to the RV Industry Association, first-time RV buyers in 2022 continued the trend of younger and more diverse buyers entering the RV lifestyle.

For the first time, wanting a place to stay while working was the No. 1 reason given for making an RV purchase. Other top reasons for purchasing fell into more conventional categories such as love of road trips, wanting to use an RV as a basecamp for other outdoor recreation and traveling in comfort.

Additionally, the ease and affordability of RVing were the most important motivations for RV travel with 32% of buyers citing avoiding common travel hassles and 30% citing the ability to save money on travel costs.
