International Thermal Research of Richmond, British Columbia, and Vancouver, Wash., announces that the company’s new Oasis NE-S Hydronic Heating System has received CSA/UL certification and is now approved for installation in RVs in the United States and Canada.

ITR said the Oasis NE-S produces 85,000 BTU heat, which maintains potable water at 120 degrees Fahrenheit at a flow rate of 3.0 GPM. It is specifically designed to provide ample and continuous hot water to premium coaches incorporating a two-shower configuration.

The Oasis NE-S utilizes ITR’s proven and proprietary low-pressure diesel combustion system. It departs from the modular configuration of ITR’s Oasis CH50 and DM12 heaters, resulting in a lighter heater that is easier to install and service, according to ITR. Other features incorporated into the design include a simplified purging procedure, which prevents pumps from running dry; and an increased heat exchange efficiency, which reduces fuel burn.

“Our company is very satisfied with the design and performance characteristics of the Oasis NE-S Hydronic Heating System. The recent CSA/UL certification underscores ITR’s commitment to building heating products that are known not only for innovative design, high quality and superior performance, but also for their uncompromised safety,” said John R. Uren, president and CEO of International Thermal Research.
