An InventHelp inventor has developed a device for adapting a three-inch receiver hitch.
“I thought there could be an improved way to solidly anchor a rack or carrier using a truck with a 3-inch receiver hitch,” said an inventor from Loomis, California, “so I invented the RED DEVIL. My design prevents loud clunking noises and rattling due to a loose fit using reducer sleeves with a 3-inch hitch.”
The invention provides a more solid means of hauling a rack or carrier using a truck with a 3-inch receiver hitch. In doing so, it increases stability. As a result, it eliminates hitch rattle, swaying, excessive vibrations, and the associated noise. The invention features a durable design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for owners of late-model large pickup trucks that come with 3-inch receiver hitches installed as well as owners of racks, trailers, RVs, carriers, or platforms that only use 2-inch square posts.
The original design was submitted to the San Diego sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
