Investigators Dig Into Forest River Fire Remains
The investigation into the cause of a massive fire at a Forest River plant at 411 C.R. 15 continued Tuesday, when heavy equipment was taken into use.

The Elkhart Fire Department said the heavy equipment, including an excavator and a crane, is removing debris and will most likely be involved in the work for several days.
Investigators have yet to determine a cause for the fire and appeared to be working cautiously Tuesday.
Aaron Gerber, division chief of fire prevention with the Elkhart Fire Department, said in a release Monday that the department will not release any additional information until the conclusion of the investigation.
Detective Scott Johnson with the Elkhart Police Department became involved with the investigation after the cause of the March 12 fire was not found within three days, according to Elkhart Police.
Johnson is trained in investigating arson, which police said could not be ruled out at that time.
