The Jayco family of companies was awarded 2023 Quality Circle Awards across multiple brands.
Jayco towables, Jayco motorized, Highland Ridge RV, Open Range RV, Mesa Ridge RV and Starcraft RV were all awarded by the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) for achieving high ratings in the association’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey. The DSI measures dealers’ overall satisfaction with manufacturers in Reliability/Quality, Parts, Warranty and Sales.
Jayco’s continued commitment to 100% Pre-Delivery Inspection for all brands, along with the focused improvement measures in all areas of repair event cycle time (RECT), have undoubtedly contributed to winning these awards, the company said. Its rigorous processes and standards allow for continuous improvement in manufacturing, customer service, warranty and technical support.
“Winning the DSI awards is truly a team effort and I am proud of all of our departments that have been part of it,” said Ken Walters, president and CEO of Jayco. “We know the critical significance of optimizing quality and reducing RECT. By listening to our dealers and owners, we have been able to implement processes directly focused on improving the overall RVing experience.”
RVDA received DSI responses from 539 dealership locations in the U.S. and Canada that included 2,648 brand ratings, an average of five per dealer. The top-rated manufacturers were recognized and receive their awards on Nov. 7 during the RV Dealers Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas. These brands/manufacturers received at least 15 dealer responses and scored 4.25 or above on a 5-point scale in overall dealer satisfaction in the association’s survey conducted June through September.
In addition to the DSI awards, Ryan Eash, general manager of Jayco’s Motorhome division, was presented RV PRO’s 40 Under 40 Award during the RVDA Convention/Expo.
The presentation took place the evening of Nov. 7, also at the Paris. The fourth annual awards are presented to 40 professionals from across the RV industry that have been identified as some of the brightest up-and-coming leaders under 40 years old. The winners were nominated by their peers for above-and-beyond determination, leadership and success in their respective markets. The honorees are chosen based on contributions to their workplace, industry tenure and involvement in their communities.
