During its 2023 Dealer Homecoming Event in Las Vegas, Jayco presented its most prestigious award to Terrytown RV of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Following the presentation of tenure and volume awards, Trey Miller, vice president of marketing for Jayco, announced the criteria to its top award.

Jayco“Established in 2002, the Founders award honors a dealership whose ownership and management consistently reflect a dedication to outstanding sales and customer support and who, over an extended period of time, has demonstrated a loyalty and commitment to Jayco, and whose professional operations have brought credit to Jayco and the RV industry and which embodies the spirit of the founders of Jayco.”

Miller then provided a history of Terrytown RV, started in 1973 by Tom Selvius. In the 1990’s the dealership was named world’s largest Jayco dealer five of the 10 years of the decade, and today the dealership features a 207,000-square-foot indoor showroom featuring up to 210 RVs under one roof.

The award was presented to Tom, Connie and Gabrielle Selvius by Jayco executives Ken Walters, president and CEO; Nic Martin, vice president of sales; Brad Whitehead, general manager of towables; and Ryan Eash, general manager of motorized. Tom Selvius then addressed the crowd before the ceremony concluded.

“Tom, the Selvius family and everyone in the Terrytown organization have been fantastic partners for decades,” said Walters “They are truly deserving of this award and embody every bit of what it stands for.”

The awards ceremony was held at the Venetian Resort, with more than 500 Jayco team members and dealers in attendance.

The 2024 Jayco Dealer Homecoming will take place July 21-24 once again at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
