JR Products has announced the celebration of its 50th anniversary and has kicked off its anniversary milestone by creating a commemorative logo to celebrate the company’s past, present, and future.
JR Products was founded by John Roba in 1970 and remains family-owned and operated. JR Products started by offering six products in the basement of the Roba family home. Over the course of three decades and with the addition of more products, the company had outgrown two buildings. It built a new facility in 1999 for the continued growth and success. However, the company had even outgrown that and expanded its building to 25,000 square feet.
Today, JR Products offers more than 1,000 products.
“As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, I look back to 1970 when I borrowed $2,000 and worked three jobs, seven days a week, with a hope and prayer that I would be able to support a growing family, let alone survive 50 years,” said Roba. “Now into our third generation, I have truly been blessed with the support of an outstanding family who supported me and now carry on the traditions and values that the company was built on. It also would not have been possible without all our customers who believed and supported me, many of whom have become lifelong friends.”
