Kearney RV, Boat & Sport Show This Weekend
The following is report from KearneyHub.com.
When it comes to dreaming about summer recreation, most people begin thinking about it as Memorial Day approaches. John Gerber, the promoter of the Kearney RV, Boat & Sport Show, invites people in central Nebraska to plan ahead.
“Boats and RVs are a major purchase,” he said. “Getting what you need is very important along with having a wide selection. This time of year, you have great selection of what’s available. And that’s important.”
The Kearney RV, Boat & Sport show brings together a multitude of vendors under the roof of the Exposition Building at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds, Friday through Sunday. Admission to the event is $5 and free to children 12 and younger.
“The reason it makes sense to try to get your new RV or boat this time of year is that you’ll be guaranteed to get the item you want, when you need it,” Gerber noted. “Sure, we can’t get on the water for another couple months, but having the boat you wish, with the equipment you need, is important. Everyone seems to want a new RV or boat around Memorial Day. By then, the supply is picked over and that’s the neat part of viewing and starting your quest at the show in January.”
