KING Adds Chief Technology Officer

KING has hired Scott Wilken as its chief technology officer in an effort to strengthen and expand the company’s product development team.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Scott join our team,” KING President Craig Miller said. “He has great depth in consumer electronic product development and understands how to evaluate and deploy new technology. He is a strong, hands-on leader who fits well within the KING culture. His experience and expertise is sure to open up new product opportunities and technologies to grow our business.”

“I am excited to join the KING team,” Wilken said. “There are many exciting new projects already underway, and I look forward to leveraging their clear culture of innovating for the customer to bring even more ideas to life. KING has aggressive growth plans that I am truly looking forward to helping put into action.”

Wilken holds a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical and computer engineering from North Dakota State University and has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of product development, production and lifecycle management. 

He has held positions ranging from hands-on development of software, electronics, and Application-Specific Integrated Chips as a design engineer, to various technology leadership positions.
