KZ RV Names New Marketing Communications Director

KZ Recreational Vehicles has hired Jason Overholt as its new director of marketing and communications.

Overholt brings with him years of experience in marketing analytics, content strategy and customer acquisition. A former journalist, he oversaw digital news products for WSBT-TV in Mishawaka. He also spent time at LEER, the nation’s largest truck cap manufacturer, leading its digital marketing efforts.

Overholt is an educator. He has taught journalism and photojournalism classes at Indiana University-South Bend since 2012, and he recently joined the board of advisors for Valparaiso University’s new user experience program.

“I am proud to join an industry that is so vital to the area where I was born and raised,” Overholt said. “I am even more proud to join a company that cares so much about integrity and the quality of its product.”

Overholt will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns for KZ and Venture RV product lines. With his experience as a storyteller and his data-driven approach, he is well-suited to build upon the success KZ has had in the RV market.

“He will be a great asset to our team,” said Marlene Snyder, vice president of sales and marketing. “We are looking forward to leveraging his expertise to help us improve our online user experience as well as develop new ways to reach potential customers.
