KZ RV garnered five “Judges Choice Awards” at the RV Industy Association’s first annual RVX expo.
“We brought seven trailers to Salt Lake City, and five earned Judges Choice awards,” said Aram Koltookian, president of KZ. “That’s more awards than any other company displaying at RVX. It was a watershed moment, for KZ to be recognized as a leader in innovation, design and function. RVX was the first time you had OEMs, suppliers, dealers, retailers, media and other influencers all together in the same room, and KZ received overwhelming response from all of them.”
RVIA unveiled nine unique categories of ways in which people use their RVs, with KZ winning Judges Choice Awards in the following four categories. RVX Reveal host Rutledge Wood of Top Gear offered insights into buyers who exemplify each segment:
- City Escape consumers want a maneuverable, high-tech RV for authentic experiences. KZ’s Venture Sonic-X, a concept RV, has an off-road stance, according to the company, ample solar power, a custom water supply system and a luxury interior.
- Luxury Living RV travelers set the bar high, demanding all the bells and whistles, plus that special something extra. KZ’s Venture Stratus delivers affordable luxury, with an urban vibe and hidden storage.
- Destination Camping aficionados want an affordable second home, and value time with friends and family, whether at their favorite seasonal spot, for weekend outings, or both. RVX cited KZ’s Durango for its open layout, consumer-friendly controls, and residential amenities.
- Team Tailgate was a double-win category for KZ, with Judges Choice Awards for KZ’s Venture SportTrek Touring luxury travel trailer, as well as KZ’s Venom V-Series toy hauler. RVers in this category view tailgating as an important season-long tradition and a sizable investment. RVX loved Touring’s versatile double bunk room and outdoor-access half bath, and cited the V-Series’ party patio and ample sleep space.
