After recently announcing the new 191MSL (Murphy Bed/Sofa/Locker) floorplan addition to its lineup, Ember Recreational Vehicles will publicly launch the floorplan this week at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona, running this Friday through Sunday.

The floorplan debut marks Ember’s first appearance at an Overland Expo, and the company will have both its 191MSL and Overland Micro Series ROK on display for the public.

“We’re excited to not only introduce our new flexible 191MSL floor plan, but also to be a part of popular Overland Expo for the first time,” said Chris Barth, Ember founder, COO and lead product designer. “With thousands of expected attendees and over 400 other exhibitors, we are fired up to share our new RV company with the overland community. We think the 191MSL is the perfect floor plan for enthusiasts.”

A direct response of the development team reading through nearly 2,000 comments that were posted on a viral video with nearly 200,000 views featuring the company’s first floorplan – the 191MDB in late fall 2021 – the 191MSL features an adaptable “locker” space in the rear of the unit with an industry-first EmberTrack E-Track Bunk/Storage System, giving customers the flexibility to use the space as they choose. It comes standard with two single bunk platforms rated at 300 pounds each, which can be moved up and out of the way, turned into a desk for a mobile office space, used as storage shelves or completely removed, allowing customers to customize the space even further. The built-in E-track allows for creative use of aftermarket accessories available through third–party suppliers like hammocks, straps or other equipment. The locker area also features a large cargo door, complete with a removable screen for ample airflow when in camp-mode, and a rear kayak/bike door for easy loading of gear.

Ember will also display the popular lightweight ROK floorplan from the Overland Micro Series.

“This model is meant for smaller off-road tow vehicles and features a fantastic outside kitchen, front gear box, walkable fenders, and the standard Thule roof rack with an optional rooftop tent,”  Barth added. “This is a true adventure camper. Wherever the truck can go, the trailer can go.”
