Distributor Land ’N’ Sea has completed a 32,000 square-foot expansion at its Pompano Beach, Fla. distribution center, the company said in a news release Monday (Feb. 15).
The expansion serves as another step in the company’s plan to become a nationwide distributor of RV products, according to the release.
Land ’N’ Sea, which has historically served the marine market, began an expansion into the RV market with the acquisition of Bell Recreational Products Group in 2014.
“We are pleased to announce the completion of a 32,000 square-foot expansion at our Pompano Beach, Fla., distribution center, and truckloads of products have arrived and are filling up the racks as we speak,” Land ’N’ Sea President Tom Schuessler said. “This enables us to actively pursue the Southeast market and meet the growing demand for RV parts and accessories.”
Schuessler added that the company is currently eyeing more locations to expand its RV wholesale business.
“Additional plans are in the works for other distribution center expansions and we’re enthusiastic about the growth prospects this expansion initiative will provide,” he said.
