Leisure Travel Vans Names New Brand Ambassadors

Leisure Travel Vans is teaming up with Mike and Jennifer Wendland, who have an online community of more than 500,000 followers, and have been traveling and reporting on the RV industry since 2013.

“We continue to look for ways to promote the freedom and lifestyle that traveling in a compact motorhome offers, and feel that the Wendlands are a great fit,” said Mike Elias, director of marketing for Leisure Travel Vans. “Having been traveling in Class B RVs for years, they truly understand the benefits and do a great job of creating a wide variety of interesting content for their audience. On top of this, it’s been interesting to see the genuine community of RV enthusiasts they have developed, both online and offline.”

The Wendlands travel half to three quarters of the year with their Norwegian Elkhound, and are well-known for their weekly podcast, YouTube videos and RV Lifestyle travel blog.

“We’ve admired Leisure Travel Vans from afar for years,” said Mike Wendland. “We’ve gotten to know the various B-plus coaches the company makes from the many RV shows we attend and are now thrilled to be using them in our travels. They really set the standard for comfort and convenience.”

Jennifer Wendland said it was the company’s reputation for quality and integrity that won her over, along with the extra space their coaches will provide.

“We had four things on our list of most wanted features that Leisure Travel Vans really delivers on,” she said. “We needed extra storage space for all our RV accessories and cameras and video gear, comfortable beds with real mattresses, a separate and roomy dry bath, and a dedicated area we could use as a studio to edit and produce content while traveling. They have all that and more.”

The Wendlands will start their journey with LTV in the all-new Wonder Rear Twin Bed, built on the Ford Transit chassis.

“Over time, our goal is for the Wendlands to have the opportunity to travel in a variety of our models and floorplans so that they can compare them, answer questions from customers and provide valuable feedback,” said Mike Elias.

While the Wendlands will be driving a Leisure Travel Van, they will continue to independently cover all aspects of the RV industry and to generate their own original content for their various platforms. You can expect to see the Wendlands at the major RV shows throughout 2019, starting off at the all-new RVX show in Salt Lake City, from March 12-14, where Leisure Travel Vans will be debuting a new product.
