Lewis RV Center Receives Top Route 66 RV Network Honor

At the 16th Annual Route 66 Rally, recently held at the Coconut Point Hyatt Resort in Bonita Springs, Fla., Lewis RV Center of Oklahoma City was awarded the Larry Coker Commitment Award.

The Larry Coker Commitment Award is given to the Route 66 RV Network dealer who best reflects Coker’s total commitment to building the Route 66 brand. Coker was a long-time RV industry colleague and Route 66 employee who unexpectedly passed away February 2009.

“Lewis RV Center has been a member of the network since April 2012 and epitomizes what Route 66 is all about,” said Rob Merrill, Route 66 partner. “From the moment they joined Route 66, their buy-in and commitment to the network has been unwavering. Cliff Lewis and his team run a phenomenal operation with tremendous character and integrity.”

Lewis also served as an active member of Route 66’s advisory board for two years, offering his time, talents and wisdom to strengthen the organization on behalf of all participating dealers.

“Thank you for thinking we were worthy of this award,” said Lewis. “Route 66 makes our job easier by being our ‘easy button.’ As far as I’m concerned, that’s one of the biggest compliments I can give the network and the partner relationships we enjoy as members.”

“Looking forward, Route 66 is fully committed to continue growing our footprint of quality dealers, like Lewis RV, throughout North America, strengthening our programs and relationships with our current and new supplier partners and ensuring our dealers’ customers are the most satisfied RVers on the road,” said Dave Francis. “We know that as a network we’re only as good as the company we keep … and we’ve been very blessed with a great team of dealers and partners.”
