LGS Group, the distributor for InterMotive Vehicle Controls, has hired Romeo Berthier as general manager of the Elkhart, Ind., office. Two support staff have been added as well.
Berthier is responsible for overseeing and directing the flourishing Elkhart assembly business unit, including operations, recruitment and supplier optimization. He also will assist with LGS Group’s expanding work truck, ambulance and RV sales.
Previously, Berthier worked as plant and engineer managers, developing new products in the automotive components industry. His experience includes more than 15 years in sales.
“At the rate we are growing, Romeo brings a much-needed element to the team,” said Greg Schafer, executive VP of LGS Group. “His focused guidance will help steer our assembly business in the right direction.”
