Lippert & Continental Trailers Announce Marine Trailer Axle Partnership
Lippert Components Inc., a leading supplier of engineered components to the recreation and transportation markets, announced a new partnership with Continental Trailers to supply marine trailer axles across Continental’s trailer lineup, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to American manufacturing and domestic engineering support.

As one of the industry’s most established axle manufacturers, Lippert supplies axles across the RV, marine and utility trailer markets through a large-scale U.S. manufacturing network. The company combines advanced automation, robotic welding and precision machining with rigorous quality control to support consistent performance and high-volume trailer production. Under the agreement, Lippert will supply American-built marine trailer axles for the thousands of trailers Continental produces annually.
“This partnership highlights the advantage of working with a manufacturer that has both the scale and engineering depth to support growing trailer builders,” said Bob Boone, VP of utility towable sales at Lippert. “We manufacture marine axles here in the United States and design them specifically for the conditions boat trailers face. That combination of domestic production, proven durability, and engineering support makes us a strong partner for companies like Continental.”
“As we continue to grow our trailer lineup, partnering with an American manufacturer known for innovation and reliability was a natural step for us,” said Todd Finney, Continental president and CEO. “Lippert brings the scale, engineering expertise, and premium quality we look for in a supplier. We’re excited to work together and see this partnership continue to grow in the years ahead.”
The partnership is expected to generate a significant level of annual revenue for Lippert, the company said, with additional growth anticipated as Continental expands its trailer offerings to additional geographic markets.
